The Rules
1. Trust no one but respect everyone.
2. What happens in office, remains in office. Never take office gossips to home and vice versa.
3. Enter office on time, leave on time. Your desktop is not helping to improve your health.
4. Never make Relationships in the work place. It will always backfire.
5. Expect nothing. If somebody helps, feel thankful. If not, you will learn to know things on your own.
6. Never rush for a position. If you get promoted, congrats. If not, it doesn't matter. You will always be remembered for your knowledge and politeness, not for your designation.
7. Never run behind office stuff. You have better things to do in life.
8. Avoid taking everything on your ego. Your salary matters. You are being paid. Use your assets to get happiness.
9. It doesn't matter how people treat you. Be humble. You are not everyone's cup of tea.
10. In the end nothing matters except family, friends, home, and Inner peace.

Inflight Science
A tough read, this one!
Some of the chapters kind of brings me back to the struggle of physics classes in high school and Engineering Mechanics subject on those undergraduate days. Pheww.
3. Trak yang tolak flight ke belakang tu is called tug or pushback tractor
I remember a few years ago, my niece used to ask me "Kenapa bila hari raya, masa tu rasa cepat je?". I wish I had read this book then so I could quote "relativity' from Albert Einstein to her, haha.
"When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. but let him sit on a hot stove for a minute - and it's longer than any hour"
6. Water boils at 90०C, instead of 100०C in a pressurized cabin.

Tips Masakan Tahan Lama
Tahan lama tu bukanlah maksudnya tahan berminggu-minggu macam tu. Maksudnya bolehlah tahan semalaman tanpa dimasukkan dalam fridge. Gitu.
1. Untuk nasi, basuh beras bersih-bersih sampai air warna putih. Selain nasi jadi tahan lama, arwah tok saudara aku pernah bagitahu ni tips dia untuk awet muda. Tapi serius, arwah memang awet muda.
2. Masa nak serve makanan tu, make sure semua bekas-bekas tu betul-betul kering sebelum letak makanan dalam tu.
3. Lepas masak jangan terus tutup kuali/periuk. Bagi asap-asap tu reda dulu ehehe. Maaflah, tak reti nak buat ayat macam mana 😬
4. Tumis bahan-bahan kisar (contoh: bawang putih, halia, bawang merah, cili boh) lama sikit.
5. Jangan campur-campur senduk.
Tu je yang teringat buat masa ni. Tadi rasa-rasa macam banyak, rupanya lima je ke? 😂😂😂 Tengoklah, kalau ada lagi nanti aku tambah lagi.

Nampak Baik vs Jadi Baik

Bank Simpanan Nasional (part II)
**haha. makcik malu.
So, I noticed rupanya my post which was titled Bank Simpanan Nasional was among the most read ones. Why-lah? Seriously, ramai-ramai google Bank Simpanan Nasional tu, untuk apa ya?
Last time I talked about my personal experience to get the 3 months bank statements from BSN. Actually cerita tak habis. After blogging about my disappointment, I actually went to another branch of BSN, and surprisingly, I managed to get the statements on the spot. Of course ada charge-lah, tapi tak banyak pun, tak silap 50 cents each and they deducted from my account.
Kesimpulannya, sama macam kalau kita pergi "jabatan-jabatan tertentu", kalau kita jumpa Pegawai 1, beliau akan cakap begini begini. tapi bila kita jumpa pulak Pegawai 2, ehh, lain pulak jawapan dia. Maka jangan putus asa.
So, konsep yang sama lah dengan BSN ni, I guess. Pergi satu branch katanya begitu. Pergi branch lain, ehh, boleh pulak. Gitu.
So, no prejudice. Just keep looking for the answers / solutions. Walaupun macam bola ditolak ke sana ke sini. Hmm..

Walking on Eggshells
English education from Mak Limah for today..
Idiom: Walking on eggshells.
Meaning: To be overly careful in dealing with a person or situation because they get angry or offended very easily; TO TRY VERY HARD NOT TO UPSET someone or something.
.....
On a personal note, I guess the eggshells have been living with the perks of being an eggshell since forever so they might not be able to realize the pain they have caused to the people around them.
Lucky (or unlucky) them.

..Perkongsian - Petua Masuk Rumah baru..
2. Membaca surah Al-Baqarah - Sebuah hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh Abu Hurairah r.a., Rasululuuah s.a.w. bersabda yang bermaksud; "Janganlah kamu jadikan rumahmu seperti kubur (hanya untuk tidur), sesungguhnya syaitan akan lari dari rumah yang dibacakan Surah Al-Baqarah."
(hadis riwayat Al-Baihaqi)
4. Baca Surah Yassin, Al-Fatihah dan Al-Ikhlas - Amalkan membaca surah Yassin setiap malam terutamanya 7 malam pertama anda menduduki rumah atau bangunan. Baca juga surah Al-Fatihah sebanyak satu kali, surah Al-Ikhlas 3 kali, selawat ke atas nabi sebanyak 7 kali, ayat Kursi sekali, tetapi di ayat terakhir bacalah sebanyak 7 kali.

..Tips to Reduce Headache..
I read this somewhere, dah lama jugak tapi jarang sangat praktikkan. Actually article tu pasal remedies for sinus, tapi saya cuba masa sakit kepala, Alhamdulillah lega. Tapi masa breathing tu jela tak sakit.
Caranya, masa bernafas, inhale thru nose. And exhale thru mouth.
Cara ni saya jumpa secara tak sengaja zaman studi dulu. Bila sakit kepala, saya urut-urut bahagian lengan (dekat dengan area siku), memang tak rasa sakit masa urut tu. Saya pernah cuba kat En Hubby, dia pun kata hilang sakit sekejap.
Bolehlah try kalau tak tahan sangat and jenis tak makan pain-killer like me :)

..Tips Murah Rezeki..
1. Bangun awal sebelum subuh
2. Jangan tinggal solat 5 waktu
4. Zakat dan sedekah
....and then I got distracted due to sudden traffic jam on the road - ada accident pulak kat depan so I wasn't focusing to the radio anymore, so I'm not sure there's a no.5.
So if anyone ada terdengar jugak, please share ye :)
All in all, the key point is - the more we give, the more Allah will give to us. Insya Allah.

..Ayam Organik..

Saya memang seboleh-bolehnya beli ayam kat HPA for their organic chicken. But I guess the demand exceeds the supply, so most of the times, the chicken is out of stock. Frust jugak, because I totally support HPA products. And bila tak de, terpaksa jugaklah beli ayam tak organik kt pasar.
*Harga pengedar tu maksudnya harga untuk member. Saya tak jadi member pun, tapi saya guna member number ayah saya je hehehe
Copied from HPA website:

..Job-Hunting Tips..
So, the two things that fresh graduates need to equip themselves with:
1. Driving license - although most of us won't have car once we graduate, but I found it essential to have driving license, I mean, at least you are prepared to buy a car right after working for 3 months (well, since most banks need 3 months payslip and most of car dealers have free-down-payment promotion for fresh graduates).
Yes, you'll suffer for the first three month of your career but at least you don't have to worry about taking driving class or passing JPJ test at this stage of your life. So please get the license while you're still studying, before you graduate. Get a job during semester break to pay for the license fee, or whatever, figure out the way, no excuse!!
Because I once involved in employing new staff, the question my superior asked when I recommended a friend "Does she has transport?", "Does she has driving license?" and "Can she drive?". A "No" answer to each of these questions definitely decrease the chance of employment.
2. Be flexible - this one is crucial. If you can't stand being away from home sweet home, then just be prepared for the unemployment world. Do whatever it takes, , be far away from hometown on your own, rent a room even with strangers, well, just sacrifice first. Once you have the experince then most probably you can apply a job anywhere you want. Eventually.
These two reasons I always hear from those who are yet to find a job that best suit their qualification "Tak de transport" and "Jauh". Sometimes they decided to turn down a job offer just because of these two things. Sounds trivial to some of us, but believe me, some people let these trivial things stop them from what getting what they deserve.
So, in case you just googled "Job-Hunting Tips" and found this blog, good luck to you :)

..Lip Treatment That Works..
But good things need to be shared, right?
I think I've mentioned a few times in my previous posts that I have this flaky, dried and chapped lips since - forever. Dah banyak jugak lips products yang dalam affordable range saya cuba - Vaseline, LipIce, Banana Boat, Maybelline, but nothing works :(
I even tried Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie, tapi sama jugak. The applied layer akan jadi kering dan mengeringkan lagi bibir saya.

Lipstick was a big no-no for me.
Plain water memang saya minum lebih kurang 3liter satu hari, but still my lips are not improved at all. Sedih sangat and rasa give up :(
Sebelum jumpa produk yang OK ni, I tried Aloe Lip Treatment from BodyShop, but sadly, tak jalan jugak.

Tapi I dh tak tahu nak try apa lagi, so I decided nak beli jugak lagi for the second tube, but fortunately that time, the promoter at BodyShop suggested these two when she looked at my super-dry lips. So I guess I should give it a try.

Alhamdulillah, the LipCare works wonder on me. It moisturizes my lips well, no dried layer anymore, unlike the previous lip care products. Normally, every morning I apply Lipscuff dulu to remove the dead cells, then only apply the Lipcare. Tapi I selalu kena apply Lip Care tu, like every hour kalau duduk dalam air-cond. But that's OK, asalkan tak kering lagi. I dah try ni dalam sebulan, so far memang OK.
Since I have the worst lips problem in the world, I think whatever products that work for me would work well for others, too.

..Makang Ikang..
I personally think that Terengganu slang is a hard slang to be spoken. Through my observation, jarang orang negeri-negeri lain would spontaneously imitate Terengganu slang, well, of course, except for the phase of 'makang ikang' where obviously the alphabet 'g' will be highly emphasized. LOL.
Normally kalau sebut negeri pantai timur, I think Kelantan slang is more famous and user-friendly kot. As a major example, peoplee would be able to pronounce "Kelate' without fail, where as for Terengganu, people would mistakenly go for "Ganu".
Yes, the correct pronunciation is "Tranung", not "Ganu". Try listen to "Kita tengok penyu telur" song by Iklim, they pronounce it as "na, na, na, na Tranung kita", not "ganu kita". And I'm pretty sure the person responsible behind the "Ganu" is Pak Nil (Aznil Nawawi) because I remember watching TV when I was 14 or 15 years young, and there was this one TV show of him coming to Terengganu and he used the word. That was the first time I ever heard of the word "Ganu".
OK. That's the first lesson. hehehe.
Apa lagi ye...Owh, do you know that 'sebutan bersabdu' is very essential to interpret the meaning of a Terengganu sentence.
Contoh:
"Ikang makang kucing".
Sebenarnya dekat perkataan 'makang' tu, kena ada sabdu sikit pada 'm' tu supaya maksudnya jadi "ikan dimakan oleh kucing" instead of "ikan makan kucing"
Adoi, I actually feel funny while writing this. Hahahaha.
Nantilah sambung lagi. Apa-apa pun, I heart Terengganu :)
P/s : Ada sesapa pernah baca "Growing Up In Terengganu" tak? I always wanted to buy that book, but always ending up buying 'more appealing' book everytime I hit the book store. Ok tak buku tu?

..Owh McDonald..
Balik kerja semalam I drove-through McD sebab kebetulan dah janji dengan En Hubby nak belanja strawberry sundae . Jadi, mari kita siasat hehe. I tanyalah dekat kaunter masa nak bayar tu, betulke voucher tu? The counter girl suruh I tunggu kejap, dia siap tinggalkan kaunter tu pergi tanya superior dia. Alamak, beriye la pulak, not that I want to use the voucher pun, I nak tahu jek. Tapi lama lah pulak dia pergi, naik pelik I - sapa pulak ambik order kereta belakang-belakang tu. Pastu ada 2 bijik kereta bersusun belakang I, ish, tak kuasalah nak tunggu.
So I terus drove ke kaunter depan nak ambik food. OKlah...
Balik rumah I online facebook, and found this:

Moral of the story: Don't spread the rumors through e-mail so easily. Penatlah dengar rumors ni.
So now I can do them some favors to stop spreading the mails like some big deal huh.
I mean, staff McD tu sendiri pun salah infonya, apatah lagi e-mails yang entah dari mana tu.
