..Golden Globe award..

i've yet to watch it. dah rekod tapi belum ada mood nak tengok.

but as always, although i'm not a fashion person at all, i still love to watch the celebrity's dresses. jadi saya pun buat kerja tak de faedah - browsing golden globe pictures heh.

so far, i think Kate Hudson punya dress cantiklah (tapi tak tengok semua pun lagi ni)

okeh, hari ni terasa macam nak share something useful sikit.

rasanya ramai yang dah join Public Mutual Unit Trust Fund yang pakai cash method tu kan.

so let's share about something quite new - investing using your EPF money.

Basic pemahaman adalah - jumlah yang boleh dilabur adalah 20% of the amount excess of the required Basic Savings in Account 1.

Table shows the Basic Savings Required in Account 1.

Here's the calculation of how much you can invest:

(Amount in Account 1 - Basic Savings Required in Account 1) X 20%

*Please note that minimum amount to invest is RM1000

Okay. Bagi contohlah kan.

1. Kalau umur tahun ni ialah 28 tahun, jadi, dari table yang diattachkan di atas, Basic Savings required in Account 1 for age 28 is RM14K

2. Next, check lah your latest EPF statement (http://www.kwsp.gov.my/). Lepas check, katalah ada RM20K (contoh je ni) dalam account 1.

So pengiraan adalah seperti berikut:

(RM20K - 14K) X 20%

= RM1200

3. Minimum amount is RM1K kan, so qualified la nih untuk melabur.

4. Bolehlah hubungi ejen Public Mutual terdekat :)

..My Sister's Keeper..

This type of movie is really my thing nowadays. It revolves around family, love, life and humanity. I cried watching it like a baby. adehla, sungguh cengeng.


By the way, here's a brief review from me:

Mainly, it's about Kate Fitzgerald, who had been diagnosed with leukemia and bone marrow cancer since she was 5. In order to stay alive, she needs a marrow donor who is genetically matched. Unfortunately, her brother, Jesse is not.


So her parents, Sara and Brian Fitzgerald opted for the recommended-yet-no-so-legal method to have in-vitro baby - who is 'engineered' to be Kate's genetic match. So Anna Fitzgerald is born.


But when she's 11, Anna gets herself a good lawyer, Campbell Alexander to sue her parents for medical emancipation. She refuses to donate her kidney to Kate and wants the right to have control over her own body. The reason - she wants to live her entire life normally.

Eei, budak ni agak selfish di situ... Pelik betul dengan decision Anna walaupun at the same time rasa jugak kesian sebab she had undergone numerous surgeries, transfusions and shots to help Kate.

Tapi sebenarnya Anna tidaklah sekejam itu - Kate is the one who persuaded Anna to do so because she decided not to fight the cancer anymore after her boyfriend (also a cancer patient) died.

Tersentuh tengok ketabahan Sara (played by Cameron Diaz) yang sanggup buat apa saja walaupun at times she crossed the line.

The movie ending - Kate died. This is contrary to the novel version where it's Anna who died, instead of Kate. Eh, sejak bila pulak i pandai baca novel ni? Hehe. Taklah, i baca novel review saje :P

Anna won the court case. Everyone moves on after that. Sara pursuing her career as a lawyer which she quitted before to take care of Kate. Jesse got a scholarship to art school. Brian trains the city problematic youth.

Moralnya : Manusia hanya merancang, Tuhan yang menentukan.

..A Beginning To A Healthier Life..

Ini cerita sabtu lepas.

Susah nak merealisasikan permintaanku yang satu ini tapi saya memahami keadaan lutut En Hubby yang dislocated since he was form 4 masa lompat tinggi. kalau siapa yang kenal dia maybe perasan cara jalan dia pelik sedikit. kalau lari lagilah pelik...hehe. opsss, I'm sorry Bee

Gitula ceritanya (atau alasan kenapa tak pernah melakukan aktiviti sihat ni sejak dah kawen ni)

But this year, kata azam baru nak exercise regularly jadi kenalah paksa En Hubby ni pergi JOGGING. dia pun actually memang suka bersukan kalau tidak kerana lututnya itu.

Venue : Hutan Bandar Mutiara Rini (rasanyalah, kalau salah tolong betulkan hehe)

Time: 730+++ am (banyak plus plus tu)

En Hubby memulakan sesi jogging.

..The Review..

i had gone through two annual review recently.

one was on KPI - reviewed by my assistant manager. mine was AVERAGE but i'm okay with that. yelah, what more would i expect kan?

improvement? i'll see what i can do-lah. (langsung tak bersemangat)

the second one is the HOME CLEANLINESS reviewed by En Hubby. and i got 60%. pretty bad, huh? but i jokingly told him it's okay because it's a B (eh, wait..is it a B or a C ek..confused)

but seriously, this one i'm keen to improve. how i wish i can be like Bree Hodge in Desperate Housewives. i mean, it's one of my this year's resolution to be better in home-making so i really hope i can push myself to achieve 80% (according to my hubby's standard).

i'm thinking about making daily schedule. maybe that'll help to be more organized.

..Something Weird..and creepy as well..

i had not heard of this person for years. the last time i saw this person i didn't really forgive this person (honestly at that time i wished that this person won't find happiness for the rest of the life), but at some point, i didn't give a damn anymore and i had forgotten.

but last saturday i had this weird dream. in that dream, we bumped into each other and this person gave me something like car keys ke apa tah and said sorry for everything she had done to me in the past.

and on sunday i was informed that this person had passed away in an accident last week (maybe last wednesday, or thursday, around that lah, not so sure)

so unbelievable at first....

but i recalled someone used to tell me - that sometimes the soul of the dead do come and visit us in dreams but they don't talk. they just like - appear. tak tahulah betul ke tak but it's contrary to what i had - the person did talk.

anyway, i'd like to take it as a co-incidence. tak payah pening-pening fikir.
