..When History Repeats Itself..

I'll be having a 'long' weekend this week, so officially 2009 history repeats itself.

I hope the economy will re-bounce back :(

..Sup Ekor + Tulang..

Grr...geram betul kat Blogger-droid version baru ni. Konon-konon ada auto-publish feature, tapi yang scheduled on 14 Nov hari tu tak dipublish pon...huhu. *ke saya yang tak reti guna ni..

Ok, enough being mad at blogger-droid. Hehe.

Actually I posted a pic of my first sup ekor attempt. Together with the sambal kicap which was also a first attempt.

Tapi sup ekor tu saya pakai resepi yang biasa buat sup tulang je pun. Ni pun campur sekali dengan tulang, sebab ekor dapat sikit je masa korban hari tu :p

So bolehlah nak update segmen 'one week one recipe' ai tu..ngeh3x

..The Garbage Issue..

When I 'promoted' my friends to use reusable bag to shop, one response I got was - "Nanti tak ada plastic bag nak buat buang sampah"

Well, I don't really have the solution - but I think, instead of we giving excuses NOT to use reusable green bags, why don't we find a way of how to reduce our daily waste, right?

Besides, it kinda scary to read everywhere about how the world now is not enough for 7billion people -I don't think we could afford any space for dumping site, so it's really time to not be wasteful.

Dah malam baru nak wish hehehe..

Btw, semalam and hari ni belajar buat laksa johor dan Alhamdulillah, berjaya :)

But of course lah tak buat sorang-sorang. Kat Kemaman, team laksa Johor sampai 4 orang. Kat Kuala terengganu, team laksa adalah 3 orang. Lebih kurang 3 jam jugak preparation+cooking time. Nak sediakan bahan-bahan tumis lagi, tumbuk udang kering + ikan kering, buat sambal belacan lagi, blend ikan dan udang lagi huhu. Kalau sorang-sorang rasanya tak ada kekuatan kot saya nak buat :p

Lepas tu, Masterchef malam ni Uji Rasa laksa Johor pulak tu, bolehlah berlagak konon-konon tahu ingredients tu *padahal bawanh merah dengan bawang besar pub tak reti nak beza rasa dia macam mana

Mak dah siap bagitau nak pergi beli murtabak kegemaran anakandanya ini.

..Taking Chances..

''More often in life, we end up regretting the chances in life that we had, but didn't take them; than those chances that we took and wished we hadn't''

I have these few regrets in life that are still with me up until now.  All those chances that I let it slipped away still sometimes bugging me. 

I wish I had more guts and courage back then.

And I wish someday I can live with the decision of not taking them :(

..Romantic #2..

En Hubby called just now - to tell me that today's date is such a beautiful date 1/11/11. 

In fact, he'd always call everytime he sees or acknowledges something interesting or extra-ordinary on his way to work/home. 

Some of my friends heran tengok, ''rajinnya husband ko call.  dah kahwin and dah duduk sekali pun masih call2'' huhu.

Tapi bukanlah bargayut lama-lama pun.  Setiap kali call tak sampai seminit pun. 

Anyway, I find it very romantic and sweet that he thinks of me everytime he sees new and interesting things :)
