Not A Competition

I fought my battle
that you never knew of

and now you claim
you are stronger than me

I never talk about things that hurt me most
so how can you justify my pain?

How could you compare my catastrophe
when I can't even make you understand?

And the truth is,
you never will,
and you won't have to.

Because this is my battle
and it's not a competition

I don't have to be the stronger one
                       between us,
I just have to be strong enough
                      for myself.
