..Kuching Trip Part I..

It was a month ago.

My sis and me booked Air Asia ticket since December 2010. Approximately the return ticket fee was about RM230 (including tax, seat booking, luggage) per person.

Sebelum pergi saya survey-survey tempat-tempat menarik di Kuching kat internet. Antara info yang saya dapat : Pasar Satok (untuk cari ikan terubuk masin), Pasar Sarikin, Top Spot Seafood, Waterfront, perkambungan Melayu seberang sungai Sarawak (tempat kek lapis), kilang pasu Batu 4, main bazar (berdekatan Kuching Waterfront). Antara makanan pulak : Mee Kolok, Laksa Sarawak, Umai, Ayam Panggang madu.

Tapi, itu survey punya cerita. Kami tak sempat khatam semua tu pun. Bab-bab muzium tu memang my sis and me dah tolak awal-awal - memang jiwa tidak ke arah itu ehehehe.

So our trip was on 29 April until 1 May. En Hubby and me from JB, while my parents together with Buyan's family from Kemaman - our meeting point was at LCCT. Despite the almost-can't make-it-on-time drama before departure, we had arrived in Kuching around 11am.


We stayed here during our visit to Kuching. Homestay ni ada 3 bilik so ngam lah untuk kami yang kira 3 family ni kan. Untuk 3 hari 2 malam, harga adalah RM370. Kak Su, the homestay owner also provide transportation service which is RM380 untuk 3 hari 2 malam tu. Saya rasa memang berbaloi-baloi.

Husband Kak Su datang jemput kami kat airport dan terus bawak kami makan, *tapi nama kedai tu saya lupa. Excitedlah kami order Sarawak food walaupun dalam flight tadi baru je makan hehehe.

Petangnya, kami ke sini. Well, it actually opens only on Saturday and Sunday tapi kami sajalah datang jugak nak tengok-tengok. Tak jauh pun dari homestay.


Tapi dah ada orang jual ikan terubuk masin maka terus borong.


Right after that, singgah sebentar di Waterfont. The background is DUN Sarawak.

Kebetulan my biras, Kak Suzy pun happened to be in Kuching masa tu, jadi buat family gathering kejap kat Top Spot, yeay, seafood time! Thanks Kak Suzy for the treat :)
